Las Vegas enjoys great weather all year round so there really isn’t a good or bad time to visit. Generally the summer period is the cheapest time to visit with the extreme weather making it uncomfortable for some. There is so much on offer within the hotels and nearby attractions that its not actually that unbearable and will certainly be cheaper than other times of the year. That being said the peak season would be classed between May to August and flights can be expensive. If you intend to visit during this period book well in advance to avoid expensive fares.
The cheapest time of the year is probably November with the holiday season well and truly over and the next rush being Christmas.
Fares to Las Vegas are largely speaking pretty flat throughout the year with the exception of the summer period of May to August. Irrespective of when you intend to travel, booking at least three months in advance or earlier means flights will be widely available and at their cheapest. A great tip once you’ve booked your flights is to select seats on the left-hand side of the plane which gives you spectacular views of the Grand Canyon during your decent into Las Vegas McCarran International Airport.
