The subdivisions of Los Angeles city
The city of Los Angeles or the “City of Angels” is positioned on a broad basin in Southern California. The city is enclosed by massive mountain ranges, valleys, forests, beautiful beaches along the Pacific Ocean, and nearby desert. The metropolitan city is divided into various districts as listed below
Downtown: This area encompasses novel residential buildings, trendy hotels, bars, shops and restaurants and is considered as the central business district and home to the Grand Avenue cultural corridor.
Harbor Area: Contains the biggest sea port of the US and also Catalina Island, which is an initiation point for the trips
Hollywood: Well, the name suffices.
San Fernando Valley: Home to various districts and is situated at the northern suburban portion of Los Angeles
South Central: Known for gang violence and is famous for the Rodney King riots. Nothing much to see here except museums of Exposition Park.
