    The geography of the Tampa

    The biggest city in West Central Florida on the north shore of Tampa Bay, Tampa is the county seat of the Hillsborough nation and is positioned on an inlet reaching far into the west coast of Florida. Saint Petersburg is situated on the west of the bay, while Bradenton is on the southern shore. The downtown commercial epicenter of the metropolitan is on the north coast of Hillsborough Bay and Ybor City is positioned to the east.
    In the interior of Tampa, there are six authorized historical districts known as Hampton Terrace, Hyde Park, Seminole Heights, Tampa Heights, Historic West Tampa, Ybor City. Further, Tampa is separated into five chief boroughs from Downtown in the south-center amid the Hillsborough River and Ybor Channel. West Tampa is situated on the Hillsborough River to the west of Downtown while South Tampa is a big suburban area and spreads south along the Interbay Peninsula. Celebrated Ybor City lies on the northeast side of downtown and East Tampa, the ancient African-American side of the city, lies north of Ybor City.

The hurricane period spreads from late summer through early fall. The peak time ranges from January to April as people come here to escape the cold weather. The finest time to visit Tampa is between September and December, when the weather is pleasant and hotels are available at reasonable rates.

    Hillsborough Area Regional Transit or HART buses covers the zoo, Busch Gardens, the Henry Plant Museum and Ybor City at $2. While In-Town Trolley Within downtown is HART's cheap trolley runs up and down Florida Ave, Tampa-St and Franklin St every 15 minutes. HART's TECO Line Streetcars is antiquated electric streetcars that unite downtown's Marion Transit Center with Ybor City, running every 20 minutes.
