British Airways is the multi-award winning flag carrier of the United Kingdom. Commonly referred to as BA. It was founded in 1974 and by 1987 went into privatisation. It is the largest airline in the UK based on fleet size and second to only EasyJet based on passengers carried. In 2011 they merged with Iberia making them the third largest airline group in the world. British Airways has been a firm advocate of the Boeing brand with the vast majority of its fleet flying their crafts. In recent years they have added the super jumbo Airbus A380 to their fleet with 12 in operation amongst other crafts. It currently has 269 crafts in its fleet ranging from the Boeing 747, 767, 777, 787 Dreamliner, Airbus A319, A320, A321 and Airbus A380.
